4 tips on Cleaning Your Counter-tops in Phoenix Arizona

You will need the following items:

• Rubber Gloves
• Terry Cloth Towels (Cotton not microfiber) 
• Dedicated trigger sprayers 
• Microfiber hand brush
• Stiff scrubbing brush 
• 1 gallon of Neutral Stone Cleaner 
• 1 gallon of Alkaline Stone Cleaner 
• 1 gallon of food-grade disinfectant to kill germs
• Squeegee to control solution from running off onto the floor.
• Blue tape for masking

Here are 4 tips on how to maintain your countertops:

Tip 1#:

Dry vacuum countertop to remove harsh abrasives. If you don’t have a vacuum, then use a very fine microfiber hand brush to sweep the dry soil. 

Tip 2#:

Apply Alkaline cleaner liberally on the surface of the countertop. Be careful not to allow cleaner to roll off onto cabinet or floors. Use a squeegee to control the solutions.

Tip 3#:

Scrub surface to break up embedded soil on your countertop. Keep the surface wet at all times. Do not allow to dry. Blot up with terry cloth towels. Apply to neutralize with applying neutral cleaner after you blot up to lower P/h on the surface. Wipe up until dry to the touch.

Tip 4#:

Improperly cleaned countertops are a breeding ground for germs. Always, use dedicated terry cloth towels that allow you to clean without creating cross-contamination. The last step, apply a food-grade disinfectant with a trigger sprayer directly to the surface of the clean counter-top, especially where you wash dishes and prepare food. Use the terry cloth towels to absorb any excess.
