4 TIPS ON HIRING A NATURAL STONE CARE COMPANY IN SCOTTSDALE ARIZONA.
Stone Care of Arizona, LLC is the premier hard surface cleaning and sealing company that uses the fundamentals of hard surface cleaning to remove unwanted soil and contamination. We use non-toxic and safe cleaning and sealers to protect your Onyx.
You may wonder, what are these hard surface cleaning fundamentals?
The Fundamentals of Hard Surface Cleaning revolves around producing cleaning action that dissolves, encapsulate and suspends unwanted soil on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Stone Care of Arizona, LLC uses the following cleaning fundamentals:
HEATED AQUEOUS CLEANING SOLUTION
AGITATION AND DWELL
THE EXTRACTION PROCESS
APPLICATION OF PENETRATING SEALER
Our mounted equipment in our van delivers a temperature-controlled heated solution that creates detergency. Simply, our prespray and pH balanced rinses produce microscopic detergency that gives soil mobility to an emulsified fluid state.
The best cleaning is assisted with agitation and dwell time. We agitate your natural stone with an industrial-grade bi-directional grooming brush that assists in the emulsification of embedded soil. Allowing the heated aqueous cleaning solution time to break down the soil barrier (sticky substances in your grout and micro-pores) to ensure you are provided with the ultimate deep cleaning.
Our state of the art surface cleaning equipment gently flushes the solubilized soil that has emulsified and suspended on the Onyx countertop surface. The deep flushing action dislodges all embedded soil trapped below the surface inside the micropores of your Onyx. This leaves your Onyx countertop professionally cleaned and provides the "wow" factor of a clean surface for the first time since being harvested from its respective mountain.
Now that your Onyx countertop is amazingly clean, it is ready for a sealer. Stone Care of Arizona, LLC the natural stone care expert uses only the best penetrating sealer on the market. Our impregnating sealer will professionally protect your Onyx countertop creating "surface repellency" that resists water molecules from passing. How small is a water molecule? “A water molecule measures approximately 2.75 angstroms, making it one of the smallest of all molecules.”

What is the size of a water molecule?
The penetrating sealer works by an invisible shielding on the Onyx countertop that protects it against moisture penetration. Our sealer protects the surface with a protective barrier without changing the appearance. Our sealer uses Nanotechnology that allows the Onyx to retain its breathable characteristics. When hiring an Arizona Stone Care company always insist on the name of the product and do your own investigation. Stone Care of Arizona, LLC prefers to use a commercial-grade oil-based sealer. We do not use consumer-grade sealer from any local home improvement store.
HOW TO CLEAN ONYX:
Onyx can be cleaned with an over counter alkaline or neutral cleaner. The alkaline is for heavy-duty cleaning and the neutral cleaner is for routine cleaning. Please note: whenever you use the alkaline-based cleaner, make sure you apply neutral cleaner after cleaning as a post spray to lower the pH of the alkaline cleaner. This will prevent you from creating a soil-magnet on your countertops and flooring.

HOW TO SEAL ONYX:
You can use an over the counter penetrating sealer (oil-based) such as 511 at Home Depot for maintenance coats. Be sure to wear gloves, have dedicated towels and purchase a solvent resistance trigger sprayer.

Place protective rubber gloves on your hands. Apply penetrating sealer in a smaller section allow to dwell a few minutes (do allow to dry) buff off sealer until there are no swirls on the Onyx countertop.
Caution: If you see the presence of dried swirls, no worries, reapply sealer in the area and wipe. The reapplication of sealer will dissolve the fugitive sealer left to dry.
