1. Nature stone floors should be regularly vacuumed to reduce the incident of abrasives damaging your stone floors.
2. Use only high-quality stone specific cleaning solutions on your stone floors. We recommend that you use Zep neutral floor cleaner. When floors are great shape the neutral cleaner will help clean without leaving a sticky residue on your grout and tiles.
Too often, housekeepers have mistakenly damaged their customers' Natural Stone by using acidifying cleaning compounds. These acidifying cleaning compounds will damage the stone floors and weaken the groutlines. Never allow your housekeepers to use vinegar or strong over the counter alkaline on your Natural Stone. Improper cleaning will create a soil attracting residue and can etch or otherwise damage your Natural Stone. We recommend that you review the cleaning protocols that you or your housekeeper may be using.
